The Activity Log provides a centralized view of AI activity performed on your WordPress site. It records actions made through MCP tool calls and tracks activity generated by AI experiments in the WordPress editor, helping you understand which AI actions were performed, which WordPress user performed them, and how each operation was completed.
Note: WordPress AI plugin is required to take full advantage of the Activity Log feature.
To explore AtlasMCP Activity Log follow the below guideline:
Navigate to AtlasMCP plugin dahsboad → click Activity Log tab.
MCP Tool Calls #
MCP Tool Calls record actions performed by AI clients through the AtlasMCP MCP server.
- Tool Calls: Records each tool an AI client runs.
- WordPress User: Identifies the WordPress user associated with the AI action.
- Source: Shows that the action was performed through MCP.
- Logging: Off by default and can be enabled when needed.
Editor Experiments #
Editor Experiments activity is recorded through the WordPress AI plugin’s own request logging system.
- Always On: Editor experiment activity is always recorded.
- Request Logging: Activity is governed by the WordPress AI plugin’s request logging rather than AtlasMCP.
- AI Experiments: Includes activity from AI features used within the WordPress editor.
Activity Overview #
The Activity Log provides a quick overview of recent AI activity.
- Tool Calls, 7 Days: Number of MCP tool calls recorded during the last 7 days.
- Abilities and AI Calls: Total recorded AI ability and AI call activity.
- Errors: Number of recorded AI activity errors.
Recent Activity #
The Recent Activity section shows what AI actions were performed, who performed them, and the result of each operation.
Each activity record can include:
- Operation: The WordPress ability or operation that was executed.
- Source: The source of the action, such as MCP.
- User: The WordPress user who performed the action.
- Result: The outcome and execution time of the operation.
Full AI Request Log #
The Full AI Request Log provides access to the WordPress AI plugin’s complete AI request history, where supported request details can be reviewed.
